Oswego County SPCA

Some call them volunteers, but to the animals they're heroes. They're people giving them not just food and attention, but social contact and much needed love and friendship.

Volunteers help our animals feel more at home and more alive and loved by interacting with them through play, grooming, and love until permanent adopters can be found. This is an important job, giving one of our many cats, and in some cases a dog, important social interaction, making them feel better about themselves, there-by making them take better care of their appearance, happier and making them more adoptable.

If you love animals and have time to give, even if it's only one day a month or just at our fundraisers, we can always use the help.

Fundraising Committee Help-

We are always in need of people to help out at our various fundraisers throughout the year.  Check out our list of events on the EVENTS page and see if you're maybe available to help out.  It may be manning a table or setting up and tearing down, but every function is an important one.  Also we can use help in soliciting donations from local businesses for our annual holiday auction.  Call 592-5551 to learn more about volunteering.
